Camblesforth

Camblesforth is a rural village situated 6 miles south of Selby.  The village boasts local amenities such as a Post Office, church, two public houses, village shops, a farm shop and hairdressers.  For the golf fanatic there are five golf courses within a 16 mile radius.

Camblesforth comes under the catchment area for schools such as Brayton College and Selby High School, both mixed comprehensive schools providing education for children between the ages of 11 and 16.  Camblesforth Community Primary School provides a safe learning environment for children aged between 5 and 11 and there is also a nursery for the under 5's.  Further education is available at Selby College.

The village also supports a thriving local business community including English Village Salads and Yorksire Fresh Salads.

Situated just south of the new Selby bypass, the village has good transport links including train stations at Selby, Snaith, Rawcliffe and Hensall.  Easy access to the M62 and M18 motorways, Camblesforth is ideally placed for Leeds, Hull, Doncaster and Wakefield with Robin Hood Airport just 16 miles away.

Nearby places of interest include Lotherton Hall, Carlton Towers, Doncaster Racecourse and Xscape at Castleford renowned for its host of recreational facilities.  The beautiful historic city of York is only 20 miles away.
